The No. 2 Michael Shank Racing Ligier JS P60 – Honda of Ozz Negri set the best time in the third and final free practice session of the Mosport meeting in Canada in 1'10″522 and is ahead by two thousandths. the Mazda of Jonathan Bomarito, while the No. 31 Action Express Racing Corvette DP of Dane Cameron took third place, 119 thousandths behind.
However, the session was not perfect for Michael Shank Racing as the #60 left the track during this session, causing a red flag. Renger van der Zande set the benchmark time in PC with the No. 09 Starworks Motorsport Oreca FLM8. Antonio Garcia allows Corvette to dominate Team RLL's BMW M6s in GTLM while Andrew Davis places the No. 8 Stevenson Motorsports Audi R6 LMS at the top of the GTD category.
