Mazda Motorsports confirmed yesterday the composition of the crews which will drive the Japanese firm's prototypes in the WeatherTech Sportscar Championship in 2016. Americans Tristan Nunez and Jonathan Bomarito will be lined up in the No. 55 (number chosen to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Mazda's victory). the 787B of Johnny Herbert, Volker Weidler and Bertrand Gachot 24 Hours of Le Mans 1991).
Their compatriots Tom Long and Joel Miller will ride in the No. 70. Mazda will announce the drivers who will support the starters for the 24 Hours of Daytona (January 30-31) and the other North American races Endurance Cup at the Roar Before The Rolex 24 tests.
