The Gigawave team, which had to engage a Aston Martin DBR9 in GT1 24 Hours of Le Mans, announced his withdrawal, preferring to concentrate his energy on the approval and program of the new Nissan GTR. As a result, the vacant place was given to the first alternate, namely the Seattle Advanced team. The American team will field a Ferrari 430 GT in the GT2 category with technical support from AF Corse. This team will be placed in the spotlight since Patrick Dempsey, actor from the series Grey's Anatomy, is among its crew. To be accepted at the start, the famous Doctor Shepherd will however have to comply with the obligation to complete at least ten laps of the circuit, at the wheel of the car, during free practice on Wednesday June 10.
