Dindo Capello took the wheel of the No. 2 Audi, holder of the provisional best time achieved by Tom Kristensen (3'26"536). Benoît Tréluyer is 1”366 behind the #1 car while Marco Bonanomi is three seconds behind the #18 R3 ultra. Nicolas lapierre took fourth place at the wheel of the #030 TS7. The HPD ARX-03a of Strakka Racing driven by Nick Leventis and the Lola B12/60 n°13 Rebellion of Harold Primat slotted into the top eight, followed at 8" by the Dome S744 Pescarolo of Sébastien Bourdais.
Brendon Hartley signe le meilleur temps provisoire des LMP2 avec l’Oreca 03-Nissan de Murphy Protypes avec un chrono de 3’39 »877 devant la HPD ARX-03b du Starworks Motorsports de Tom Kimber-Smith et l’Oreca 03-Nissan du Boutsen Energy Racing. Corvette occupe toujours la tête des GTE Pro avec la Corvette n°74 tandis que c’est la Porsche 911 du Flying Lizard qui domine pour le moment le GTE Am.
