Finished 9th in the general classification and 3rd LM P2 in the 24 Hours of Le Mans last Sunday, the Oreca-Nissan n°26 (Rusinov-Martin-Conway) has been declassified. The technical commissioners noted a non-compliant fuel tank. The G-Drive Racing by Delta ADR team intends to appeal this decision.
In the meantime, the Zytek Z11SN Nissan n°42 driven by Mardenborough, Ordonez and Krumm (Greaves Motorsport) took third place in LM P2 behind the two Morgan Nissan n°35 and 24. Followed by the first Oreca, that of Pecom Racing (Minassian -Perez Companc-Kaffer), the Morgan Morand Racing (Mailleux-Gachnang-Lombard), the Oreca Murphy Prototypes (Hartley-Patterson-Chandhock), the Zytek Jota Sport (Dolan-Turvey-Luhr) and in 8th place theAlpine Signatech (Panciatici-Ragues-Gommendy).
