La Corvette n°50 de Larbre Compétition prend l’avantage sur la Porsche n°67 ofIMSA Performance, Anthony Pons being unable to keep up with the pace of Pedro Lamy who easily took over the 20 seconds that separated him from first place in GTE Am. If the Vettes failed in GTE Pro, the French team could well soften the disappointment from Chevrolet. The Porsche also suffered a left rear puncture three minutes from the finish but it nevertheless retained its second place in the category.
