The ACO has confirmed that the 6 2018 Hours of Fuji will be brought forward by one week, to October 14.
“This will allow Fernando Alonso and Toyota to compete in the entirety of the rounds of the season », explained Gérard Neveu, the director of theELMS and WEC.
On the other hand, several drivers will be penalized since the Japanese event will be contested on the same weekend as Petit Le Mans en IMSA.
