The 2022 Ligier European Series season comes to an end this weekend in Portimão (Portugal). In the Algarve, champion Gillian Henrion confirmed her domination of the season by signing a new double pole position.
He set the best lap of the first session in 1:45.434, ahead of his first pursuer Stefan Mihnea (Smart Driving) by more than a second. In JS2 R, it was the RLR MSport n°75 (H. Qarajouli / M. Rich) which set the best time in 1:53162.
In the second session, Gillian Henrion dominated her opponents with a lap of 1:45.162. The Frenchman from Team Virage once again beat Stefan Mihnea by 0.867 seconds and Natan Bihel (M Racing) by 1.355 seconds. Horst Felbermayr set the benchmark time in JS2 R in 1:52.805.
