Ligier European Series – Entries for Le Mans open

The Ligier European Series season opened at Le Castellet alongside the first round of theELMS with total domination by Gillian Henrion. After a stop in Imola for the second round, on May 13 and 14, the competition will head to Sarthe for the curtain raiser of the 90th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

“Driving on the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit is the dream of every amateur or professional driver, comments Frédéric Lequien, CEO of Le Mans Endurance Management, organizer of the Ligier European Series. This is a unique opportunity that we are proud and happy to be able to offer to competitors in the Ligier European Series. The beautiful field that we have this season with twenty Ligier JS2 R and Ligier JS P4 will be even more imposing with around fifty cars expected. There is no doubt that this round will be the high point of this third season. We can't wait to see the Ligier JS2 R and Ligier JS P4 battling it out on the track in full respect of the Spirit of Le Mans! »

While more than twenty entrants are already in the running, additional entries are open. Competitors who want to participate have until May 18, 2022 to submit their application. All entries are managed by the organizer of the Ligier European Series.
