The calendar for the 2026 seasonIMSA is already known. The North American Championship ofEndurance wasted no time in announcing the dates for its next season at the 12 Hours of Sebring, its second event of the season.
Unsurprisingly, the calendar remains stable, with the 11 circuits from 2025 still on the program for 2026. The collaboration between IMSA and our organizing and promoting partners has allowed us to unveil our 2026 calendar at such an early date for a second consecutive season., said John Doonan, IMSA President. This team spirit will help our paddock and our fans prepare for next season, even though most of the 2025 season remains to be run. »
There is only one change to note in this calendar: the penultimate event of the year, Indianapolis will once again become a two-hour and forty-minute sprint race, as was the case for the first edition in 2024. There will still be five rounds in the Endurance Cup next year since Road America will return to this six-hour format, during the first weekend of August.
As usual, the 24 Hours of Daytona will open the season from January 21 to 25, with the Roar from January 16 to 18. Virginia International Raceway will host the GT round from August 21 to 23. The season will conclude at Road Atlanta with Petit Le Mans from September 30 to October 3.
