It was a shock as violent as it was surprising that animated the Michelin's back-to-school race. Le Mans Cup race Saturday night in Barcelona. Marta Garcia, the Iron Dames GT3 driver, crashed into the wall of the Catalan circuit after being violently hit.
The champion of F1 Academy was hit from behind by the Ferrari 296 n°51 of AF Corse, driven by Eliseo Donno. An impressive shock, but fortunately without serious consequences for the Iron Dames driver, who published a message on his social networks to discuss his state of health:
“I experienced one of the most difficult moments of my career. I had a very bad accident at the Barcelona circuit, with an impact of 21 G. Another driver hit me from behind and I went straight into a tire barrier against the wall. The car caught fire, and although I managed to get out on my own, I inhaled smoke and felt dizzy afterward.”

“I couldn’t open my door because it was stuck due to the impact, and I started to panic as more and more smoke entered the car… until the marshals broke the co-driver’s door and got me out. I’m so grateful for their quick response and the work they did. I spent the night in the hospital and will probably stay another night as a precaution. All the tests came back normal, but I’m still a bit shaken up and don’t feel quite myself yet. I’m going to take some time to rest properly and return to racing soon. A huge thank you to the medical team at the circuit, the marshals, the rescue team, and all the staff at the Hospital General de Catalunya in Quirón for taking such good care of me—and to everyone who sent me messages of support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
The first round of the Michelin Le Mans Cup was won by CLX Motorsport. In GT3, Kessel Racing won thanks to Cuhadaroglu and Fumanelli.

What was the outcome of the race management's analysis of Eliseo Donno's behavior? Were there any sanctions for the driver (not for the team, which had nothing to do with it)?
