There will therefore be 37 cars to take the start of the 4th round of the Michelin Le Mans Cup in Monza (Italy). In the temple of speed, 30 LMP3s and 7 GT3s will compete in a 110-minute race. For the previous round of the calendar at Le Mans, 50 cars competed with a well-stocked grid.

In LMP3, championship leaders Tom Dillmann and Alexander Mattschull will try to consolidate their lead. At Le Mans, they managed to finish on the podium twice, including a victory in race 1. In GT3, the battle for victory will be between Honda, Ferrari, Porsche et Aston Martin. Before the start of the race on Saturday July 2, it is the Danish Honda crew of Kasper H Jensen and Kristian Poulsen who advance as favorites. The two test sessions at Monza will begin on Friday July 1 before qualifying which will take place the same evening.
