A symbolic figure for Oreca. The French manufacturer, based in Signes (Var) near the Paul-Ricard circuit, produced its 100th Oreca 07 chassis. Intended for customers in the LM P2 category, the prototype was unveiled in 2017. Since then, 99 models have been sold and the 100th will be owned by the COOL Racing team. The car will make its first laps in competition during the 24 Hours of Le Mans, in June.

The French group wanted to celebrate the occasion with a special livery. Dressed in a black dress and a golden “#100”, the hundredth Oreca 07 carried out a small demonstration at Le Castellet, in the hands of Nicolas lapierre, before joining its new owners.
Last Friday I did the shakedown of the #100 #ORECA07…a few years after being part of the very first run of development. It's definitely a special one for @Oreca !! I am also glad to see that this car will be entered by @COOLRacing team @ 24hoursoflemans. pic.twitter.com/vAKyGdcW84

The Oreca 07 is the most successful LM P2 prototype in WEC. Reference model in the category (26 LM P2 teams use an Oreca chassis out of the 27 participants in the next 24 Hours of Le Mans), it has won all the races and achieved all the poles since its arrival in the world championship in 2017.
After the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Oreca will recover chassis number 100, which will take place in the museum of the new TechnoCentre in Signes.
