Gaëtan Paletou and Mark Shulzhitskiy announced that they had left the Nissan GT Academy a few days after the announcement of Wolfgang Reip's departure. The Japanese manufacturer has reduced its program for the 2016 season with the cancellation of its presence in WEC with the Nissan GT-R LM Nismo.
The Russian was involved in the LMP1 program while the Frenchman notably contested the 24 Hours of Le Mans on a Gibson 015S-Nissan fielded by Greaves Motorsport.
