Petit Le Mans: Nasr and Cadillac fastest in EL1

Brazilian Felipe Nasr (Whelen Engineering Racing) set the best time in Petit's free practice 1 Le Mans, this Thursday, behind the wheel of the #31 Cadillac DPi-VR. The Brazilian set a nice lap in 1'09″508. He beat another Cadillac, the #01 of Chip Ganassi Racing #01, that of Renger van der Zande, the only other car to have managed to go under the 1'10 mark.
 
The two men are followed by Dane Cameron and his #05 Meyer Shank Racing Acura ARX-60. The Tricolor Loïc duval of JDC-MillerSports set the fifth fastest time of the session at the wheel of his Cadillac Mustang Sampling, just ahead of the recent world champion ofEndurance, Japanese Kamui Kobayashi (Cadillac Ally #48).
 
In LMP2, it was the Habs' Gabriel Aubry who dominated the timesheet (Tower Motorsport #8) in 1'11"718, ahead of Wayne Boyd (United Autosports). In LMP3, Colin Braun (CORE autosport) dominated the category (1'15"916) in his #320 Ligier JS P54.  

En GTLM, les Porsche du Weather Tech Racing ont été les plus véloces. Frédéric Makowiecki, le coéquipier de Kévin Estre et Michael Christensen, lesquels ont perdu le titre en WEC in Bahrain the previous weekend in the final moments, ahead of his teammate Mathieu Jaminet (+0″158).
