Small Le Mans got off to a bad start for Rebellion Racing. While Neel Jani was well established in the lead in front of the Muscle Milk Pickett Racing HPD, Neel Jani collided with the #52 LMPC which was coming out of the pits while returning to the DeltaWing. The Swiss returned to the pits to change his front hood before returning to the pit lane to observe a stop & go.

Guy Cosmo is well established at the top of the LMP2 class in the Level 03 Motorsports HPD ARX-5b. Matteo Malucelli leads the GTs in the Ferrari 458 of the Risi. The start of the race is complicated for the Corvettes which seem to be plagued by mechanical problems.
