The hybrid power developed will be limited to 300 kW on FIA Grade 2 tracks, with the only Le Mans circuit concerned. The tank capacity has also been reduced both for the hybrid petrol engines, now at 62,5 l, and for the hybrid diesels (49,9 l). Tanks for non-hybrid LM P1s will be limited to 67,4 liters of gasoline.

The purchase price of an LM P2 engine cannot exceed €86, with an hourly cost set at €778. A wheel retention system ensuring automatic safety retention of the nut, approved by the FIA, must also be installed on the LM P1402 and LM P1.
