Roar Daytona – Free Practice 3: Wayne Taylor Racing confirms

Already the fastest during Free Practice 1, Wayne Taylor Racing did it again by once again achieving the best time during the third session this Saturday January 22. The time of 1:34.947 was achieved by Filipe Albuquerque at the wheel of the Acura ARX-05 despite the rain and the red flags which interrupted this session. The Portuguese was ahead Mike conway on Whelen Engineering Racing's 0.404 Cadillac DPi. Helio Castroneves took third place for Meyer Shank Racing in 1:36.047.

Ferdinand Habsburg set the best time for Tower Motorsport in LM P2 in 1:36.710. The Austrian even beat the JDC-Miller Motorsport Cadillac DPi. The LM P3 category was dominated by Sebastian Priaulx for Sean Creech Motorsport (1:43.395). David Pittard was the fastest in GTD with theAston Martin #3 Northwest AMR Vantage GT98 in 1:46.345. He beat the first GTD Pro, that of Proton USA, by 0.198.
