Roar Daytona – Warm-Up: double for Chip Ganassi Racing

The Chip Ganassi Racing Cadillac DPi dominated the Roar Daytona Warm-Up this Sunday, January 23. Eael Bamber has in fact placed the CGR n°02 ahead of his teammate Renger van der Zande and another prototype from the American manufacturer, that of JDC-Miller Motorsport which will start in pole position for the 100-minute race at 20:05 p.m. French time.

René Rast confirmed that he was fast on the Florida track by dominating the LM P2 with the No. 68 G-Drive Oreca. He notably beat Action Express Racing's No. 48 DPi with Kamui Kobayashi driving. Josh Burdon was fastest in LM P3 with the No. 320 Andretti Autosport Ligier JS P36.

Andrea Caldarelli beat the other GTD Pros with the TR3 Racing Lamborghini. Brendan Iribe set the best time in GTD with the McLaren 720S from inception racing.
