Sebring – Drivers start your engines

The start of the 61st edition of the 12 Hours of Sebring was given a few minutes ago under bright sunshine. Starting from pole position in the No. 18 Audi R1 e-tron quattro (2012 version), Benoît Tréluyer retained the advantage over the sister car (2013 version) in the hands of Tom Kristensen. After two laps, the Frenchman has a 2”152 lead over the Dane. Followed by Heidfeld's Lola Rebellion n°12, Klaus Graf's HPD ARX 03c Muscle Milk and Andrea Belicchi's Lola Rebellion n°13.

Responsible for the start at the wheel of the No. 03 Level 551 Motorsports HPD ARX-5b, Scott Tucker retained the lead in LM P2. In GT, Oliver Gavin (Corvette C6 ZR1 n°4) took the advantage over Gianmaria Bruni from the first corner. Pedro Lamy (Aston Martin n°007) is third.

The LM PC and GTC categories are respectively dominated for the moment by Pierre Kaffer (DragonSpeed) and Andy Lally (Dempsey Del Piero Racing).
