The 61st edition of the 12 Hours of Sebring was once again interrupted after Ed Brown failed to restart after spinning in the No. 03 Extreme Speed Motorsports HPD ARX-02b.
After taking over from Marcel Fässler at the wheel of the No. 18 Audi R1 e-tron quattro, Oliver Jarvis is still in the lead ahead of the sister car currently led by Lucas di Grassi. Taking advantage of the yellow flag to pass through the pit box, the Brazilian made up a large part of his deficit. The top 3 is completed by Neel Jani (Lola Rebellion Racing n°12), who is however one lap behind.
In LM P2, Guy Cosmo (HPD ARX-03b Extreme Speed Motorsports) took over the reins, ahead of the HPD ARX-03b Level 5 Motorsports no. 552 on board which is currently installed simon pagenaud.
But the big news of this fourth hour comes from GT where, after taking the advantage over the #4 BMW Z56, Dominik Farnbacher installed the #91 Viper GTS-R SRT at the head of the category. The beautiful American is ahead of Joey Hand (BMW Z4 n°56) and the Ferrari 458 Italia Risi Competizione n°62 by Gianmaria Bruni.
Les catégories LM PC et GTC sont respectivement dominées par Alex Popow (Oreca 09 FLM n°9) et Jeroen Bleekemolen (Porsche 911 GT3 Cup n°22).
