Sebring – Mazda takes the lead in FP3

If the Acura / Penske association dominated the first two free practice sessions, the Mazda RT24-Ps of Team Joest responded during the night session. At the wheel of the No. 55 he shares with Oliver Jarvis and Tristan Nunez, René Rast set the best time in 1'48"233, which allowed him to beat the sister car driven by Harry Tincknell by 0"4. , Spencer Pigot and Jonathan Bomarito. In third place, at 0”5, we find the No. 5 Cadillac DPi-VR of Felipe Nasr-Eric Curran-Mike conway.

The top five is completed by the No. 2 Onroak Nissan DPi from Sharp-Dalziel-Pla and the No. 07 Oreca 54 from Core Autosport. At the wheel of the latter, Romain Dumas only conceded 0” to the reference mark, while ranking his car best in LM P8. If the ARX 2 n°05 of Castroneves-Taylor-Rahal maintains the best time of the day, the two Acuras from Team Penske were further behind this evening.

After a final free practice session scheduled for 13 p.m. French time, qualifying will begin at 17:30 p.m.
