The Frenchman, who completed a lap of the Florida circuit in 1'46"076, will shortly be in charge of the first stint aboard this car. In second place, we find the sister car of Tom Kristensen (1'46 "497), which precedes the HPD ARX-03c Muscle Milk Pickett Racing of Lucas Luhr. The two Lola Rebellions complete the top 5 with, in order, Congfu Cheng and Nick Heidfeld.
Aboard the HPD ARX-03b n°01 of Extreme Speed Motorsports, Guy Cosmo set the best time in LM P2 in 1'55"356, just ahead of the DeltaWing.
In GT, pole sitter Gianmaria Bruni once again raised the Ferrari 458 Italia Risi Competizione n°62 at the top of the timesheet thanks to a lap completed in 2'00”641. The transalpine pilot beat theAston Martin V8 Vantage GTE By Darren Turner.
