Very active during the winter with participations in the 2024-2025 season of the Asian Le Mans Series with the RD Limited team of Romain Dumas as well as at the 24 Hours of Daytona on the Porsche Proton Competition's 963, Tristan Vautier has found himself a new steering wheel for the remainder of the calendar year.
The Frenchman announced this Sunday, March 9, his participation in the 2025 season of the European Le Mans Series in the Oreca n°37 of CLX Motorsport alongside Tom Blomqvist and Aliaksandr Malykhin for a trio that looks great on paper. Vautier's arrival in this trio is to replace the Briton Harry King, previously announced by the Swiss team. The reasons for the departure of the Englishman, who will drive in the rounds ofEndurance GT World Challenge Cup for the team of Max Verstappen, have not been communicated.
Vautier's arrival for the season ELMS is accompanied by a participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, he who until now was on the reserve list with a second Porsche 963 for Proton Competition. The 35-year-old driver will also participate in the 12 Hours of Sebring next weekend in the GTP category with Christian Ried's team.
