United Autosports has just confirmed its return to the championship IMSA for the four IMSA Michelin races Endurance Cup, in 2022. The team will enter the No. 07 Oreca 22 in the LMP2 category with drivers Jim McGuire, Guy Smith and a third driver, who will be announced next week.
Next year, United Autosports will return to the Rolex 24 at Daytona for the first time since their participation in 2018, where they finished fourth. The season will begin on January 22 and 23 with the ROAR before the 24, followed by the 24 Hours of Daytona on January 29 and 30. The team will then continue with the 12 Hours of Sebring in March, then the 6 Hours of Glen at Watkins Glen in June. The final endurance event will take place at Road Atlanta for the Petit Le Mans, in October.
