The No. 5 Action Express Racing Corvette DP dominated the third free practice session of the USC round taking place this weekend at the Road America circuit in Wisconsin. The Fittipaldi-Barbosa duo, thanks to a lap completed in 1'57"355, beat the No. 90 Spirit of Daytona Corvette DP at the wheel of which the Westbrook-Valiante pair is registered. The top three is completed by the astonishing Deltawing DWC13, which is only 1”034 behind the reference time. The No. 42 Oak Racing Morgan-Nissan from Pla-Yacaman is sixth.
Bruno Junqueira s’est illustré en LM PC au volant de l’Oreca 09 FLM n°09 du RSR Racing. John Edwards à bord de la BMW Z4 GTE n°56 et Mario Farnbacher sur la Porsche 911 GT d’AJR ont fait respectivement de même en GT LM et en GTD.
