Action Express Racing with the duo Joao Barbosa – Christian Fittipaldi lined up in the No. 5 Corvette DP set the best time in the second free practice session on the Indianapolis track in the United Sportscar Championship. The winners of the 24 Hours of Daytona (with Frenchman Sébastien Bourdais) are ahead of another Corvette DP, that of the Spirit of Daytona of Richard Westbrook and Michael Valiente. Gustavo Yacaman, associated with Chinese Ho Pin Tung in the Oak Racing Morgan-Nissan LM P2 took 5th place.
En LM PC, c’est l’Oreca FLM09 du Core Autosport de Jon Bennett et Colin Braun qui s’est montrée la plus rapide. En GT, la BMW Z4 du Team RLL de BIll Auberlen et Andy Priaulx a dominé la séance en GTLM alors que la Porsche 911 GT America du Snow Racing de Jan Heylen et Madison Snow se place en tête des GTD.
Qualifying will begin at 22 p.m. French time in the GTD category.
