Sébastien Bourdais was again the fastest during the seventh practice session for the Roar before the 24 in Daytona (Florida). On a wet track, the Frenchman set a time of 1'51"835 at the wheel of Action Express Racing's No. 5 Corvette DP, two seconds ahead of the Ligier JSP2s of Krohn Racing and Michael Shank Racing. , the #57 being driven by Alex Brundle while the #60 was driven by Oswaldo Negri Jr.
