Alex Brundle appears to have found a shortcut in the Lone Star's second practice session Le Mans, penultimate USC race contested in Austin (Texas). The driver of the Oak Racing Ligier JS P2 completed a lap in 1'58"292, beating the No. 5 Action Express Racing Corvette DP driven by Joao Barbosa by almost two seconds! Ricky Taylor follows in third position in the Wayne Taylor Racing Corvette DP. The HPD ARX-03b from ESM driven by Johannes van Overbeek and the Corvette DP Visitflorida.com from Richard Westbrook, fastest in the first session, complete the top five.
