Team Ganassi could not take part in the Motorsport Park race in Canada in the United Sportscar Championship, following Memo Rojas' exit from the track during a reconnaissance lap. The Mexican driver lost control of his Ford-powered Riley-DP and hit the barriers, damaging his car which may not be ready for the race which begins at 20 p.m. French time. Rojas underwent examinations at the medical center but no serious injuries were reported.
