The No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Corvette DP currently driven by Max Angelelli consolidated its lead at the top of the 24 Hours of Daytona, two hours from the finish. Scott Dixon (Riley-Ford DP n°02) is more than 8″ behind while Sébastien Bourdais who took the wheel of the Action Express Racing Corvette DP is 3rd, around fifteen seconds behind. The No. 01 Riley-Ford DP of Chip Ganassi Racing experienced clutch problems and has just returned to the garages. The Michael Shank Racing Ligier JS P2, which started from pole, encountered suspension problems and is in 13th place overall.
In GTLM, it is now the #4 BMW Z25 of Team RLL with Dirk Werner at the wheel which leads in front of the #7 Corvette C3.R of Antonio Garcia. simon pagenaud is currently 3rd in the second Corvette.
