One hour from the finish, Scott Dixon has just regained the lead of the 24 Hours of Daytona at the wheel of his No. 02 Chip Ganassi Racing Riley-Ford DP against the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Corvette DP of Jordan Taylor . The two men are in the same second. Sebastian Bourdais (Action Express Racing) maintains third place, just over twenty seconds behind the leading duo.
The situation has settled in the other categories. The No. 7 Corvette C3.R of Antonio Garcia has a lead of more than thirty seconds over the No. 4 BMW Z25 of Dirk Werner's Team RLL. CORE Autosport remains a solid leader in PC while in GTD, the No. 93 Riley Motorsports Dodge Viper maintains the lead.
