Richard Lietz (Porsche) et Jan Magnussen (Corvette) were involved in a collision at the very end of the final free practice session of the United Sportscar Championship in Virginia. Both pilots were taken to the medical center for additional examinations. If the father of Kevin Magnussen, pilot McLaren en F1, was released, but will have to pass further examinations before knowing if he will be able to drive in the race, Richard Lietz was taken to the hospital, but is conscious and alert, according to the press release from officials of theIMSA.
