The No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Corvette DP entrusted to brothers Jordan and Ricky Taylor achieved the best time in the second free practice session of the USC round held this weekend on the Road America track, in Wisconsin. Thanks to a lap completed in 1'57"118, they were ahead of two other Corvette DPs by 0"116 and 0"634, namely the No. 5 of Action Express Racing of Barbosa-Fittipaldi and the No. 90 of Spirit of Daytona at the wheel of which we find the Westbrook-Valiante duo. The Top 5 is completed by the No. 01 Riley-Ford of Ganassi Racing entrusted to the Pruett-Rojas pair and the No. 03 HPD ARX-1b defending the interests of Extrême Speed ​​Motorsports and on board which Ryan Dalziel and Scott take turns Sharp. First LM P2, the latter is 0 behind the reference time. At the wheel of the No. 941 Oak Racing Morgan-Nissan, Olivier Pla and Gustavo Yacaman finished 22th. And this despite a suspension break during the session.

In GT LM, Ferrari and the Risi Competizione shone, the No. 62 of Giancarlo Fisichella and Pierre Kaffer having, in 2'05"549, beaten the Corvette of Magnussen-Garcia and the Bomarito-Wittmer Viper.

The best times in the LM PC and the GTD are respectively to the credit of the No. 09 Oreca 08 FLM from Cumming-Hawksworth and the No. 8 Audi R45 LMS from Canache-Pumpelly, which wears the colors of the Flying Lizard Motorsports.
