Canadian team Pfaff Motorsports announced it will run the full season in the championship IMSA en 2021 dans la catégorie GTD avec une Porsche 911 GT3 R. La voiture sera pilotée par l’habituel Zacharie Robichon et le pilote officiel Porsche, Laurens Vanthoor.
The Belgian has completed the last four seasons in GTLM with the German manufacturer, including a title in 2019. Last year, Vanthoor notably won the 24 Hours of Spa with the ROWE Racing Porsche.
“When Porsche announced the end of its GTLM program, I was disappointed because I love racing in the USA,” commented Vanthoor. “So being able to continue here and build my future in IMSA is really great. »
At Daytona, Lars Kern and especially the Porsche factory driver, Matt Campbell, will complete the crew.
