Exiled to the United States to pursue a career in IndyCar, Reenus VeeKay will find an atmosphere worthy of his country of origin, the Netherlands. The 21-year-old driver will make his first start at the 24 Hours of Daytona (Florida, January 29-30) with Racing Team Nederland.

The gentleman driver and team boss, Frits Van Eerd, has long kept an eye on Hoofddorp's hope. “Since he left for America at the age of 16 five years ago, I have been involved in Rinus' career. The fact that we will now race together at Daytona is of course a wonderful crown to this collaboration. »
The two men will be associated with Giedo van der Garde and Dylan Murry. In addition to the 24 Hours of Daytona, Racing Team Nederland will contest the other three rounds of theEndurance Cup in IMSA namely the 12 Hours of Sebring, the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen and Petit Le Mans.
