In Spa, Ferrari continued to assert its dominance. Despite the problems encountered by the No. 83 AF Corse, the No. 51 Ferrari of James Calado, Antonio Giovinazzi, and Alessandro Pier Guidi once again allowed the Prancing Horse to outshine the competition. However, the podium was completed by the No. 36 crew ofAlpine (Mick Schumacher, Jules Gounon, Frédéric Makowiecki) is the symbol that the gaps continue to narrow before approaching the 24h of Le Mans.
Among other notable results of the race, the Toyota n°8 led by Sébastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley and Ryō Hirakawa finished fourth, just off the podium, even though he started from 15th position. In the LMGT3 category, the #21 Vista AF Corse completed another great weekend for the Italian firm, as it also won thanks to François Hériau, Simon Mann and Alessio Rovera.
