Malgré les forfaits (Toyota, Pescarolo 03 ou encore JMB Racing), il y aura bien 42 voitures au départ des 6 Heures de Spa samedi prochain. La deuxième manche du WEC will indeed welcome two other LMP2 entrants participating in theELMS but wishing to travel to Belgium in order to prepare the 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 16-17). These are the Murphy Prototypes, which will field its Oreca 03-Nissan entrusted to the pair Warren Hughes-Jody Firth, as well as the Lola B12/80-Judd from Status GP on which for the moment only Alexander Sims is confirmed.
Another modification to note is the crew change on the Ferrari 458 Italia n°58 of Luxury Racing registered in GTE Am. François Jakubowski and Dominik Farnbacher, although present at Sebring, leave their place to Gunnar Jeanette and Franck Montecalvo. We will also notice the presence of Brian Vickers in the No. 458 Ferrari 61 Italia AF-Corse / Waltrip, and that of Darius Ahrabian in the No. 12 Lola B80/31 Lotus.
