Qualifying for the 6 Hours of Silverstone has just ended for the GTs. With an average time over four laps of 1’59”125, the Ferrari 458 Italia n°51 alignée par AF Corse et confiée au duo Toni Vilander-Gianmaria Bruni a décroché la pole en GTE Pro. La première Aston Martin, the #97 of Darren Turner-Stefan Mücke, is only 5th in the category, and is ahead of the #458 Ferrari 81 Italia of Bird-Rugolo-Wyatt, who clocked 1'59"932. AF Corse and Ferrari therefore dominated the two GTE categories.
