Qualifying for the 6 Hours of Shanghai, the penultimate round of the WEC, have just ended for the GTE. In GTE Pro, theAston Martin n°97 s’est octroyée la pole-position grâce à une moyenne sur quatre tours de 2’04 »342. Le duo Stefan Mücke-Darren Turner a devancé de 0 »101 la Porsche 911 RSR n°92 des Français Patrick Pilet et Frédéric Makowiecki. Suivent la 911 RSR n°92 (+0 »256) de Jörg Bergmeister-Richard Lietz et la Ferrari 458 Italia n°51 (+0 »437) of Gianmaria Bruni-Toni Vilander, which precedes the sister car of James Calado-Davide Rigon by just a fraction.

Aston Martin scored a double as the #98 of Pedro Lamy-Christoffer Nygaard-Paul Dalla Lana took pole position in GTE Am thanks to an average over four laps of 2'05"272. The top three in the category is completed by the No. 911 Porsche 75 RSR of Prospeed Competition Matthieu Vaxivière-Emmanuel Collard-François Perrodo, which follows by a tenth and is ahead of the second Vantage, namely the No. 95 of the Richie trio.
