L’Allemande a devancé de respectivement 0 »244 et 0 »686 les Toyota TS040 Hybrid n°8 et n°7. La première Audi, en l’occurrence la n°1 de Di Grassi-Duval-Kristensen is fourth at 1”196, just ahead of the #14 Porsche (+1”578) and the #2 Audi (+1”974).
In LM P2, the No. 2 Ligier JS P26 of Canal-Pla-Rusinov's G-Drive Racing once again climbed to the top of the hierarchy thanks to a lap completed in 1'55"050. The No. 03 SMP Racing Oreca 37 and the No. 47 Oreca KCMG complete the top three.
Aston Martin takes a double hit in GTE, the no.95 of Poulsen-Heinemeier Hansson-Stanaway having set the best time in GTE Am in 2'03"984, ahead of the no.0 of Turner-Mücke, GTE Pro benchmark, by 6"97 .
Note that the race management used the Full Course Yellow procedure twice, including once to involve a lifting machine that had entered the circuit in order to remove the No. 03 Oreca 37 from the gravel trap. .
