Anthony Davidson (908 n°7) took control of the event after the pit stop of simon pagenaud (908 no. 9). The Briton returned to the pits the following lap, leaving the lead of the event to Marcel Fässler.
Joao Barbosa, driver of the No. 33 Level 5 Lola, spun at the Dunlop corner. The Spaniard is in fourth place in the LMP2 class.
