La Peugeot 908 n°8 is now leading the race ahead of n°7.

The teams took advantage of the second pit stops to change their drivers. Sebastian Bourdais is replaced by Anthony Davidson in the #908 Peugeot 7, now second. Franck Montagny hands over the wheel of the #908 8 at the head of the race to Stéphane Sarrazin.
Timo Bernhard replaces Marcel Fassler in the No. 18 R1 while Allan McNish is replaced by Tom Kristensen in the No. 2 Audi, still in fourth place. The first Audi is around twenty seconds behind the leader.
