Second place in LMP2 for the No. 26 Oreca from Signatech Nissan allows the French team to consolidate its lead in the ILMC Championship. Franck Mailleux, who shares the wheel with Lucas Ordonez and Soheil Ayari, is satisfied with the result, even if mechanical problems disrupted the Signatech's race.
“Since the start of the season, we have been fighting to win,” explained Franck Mailleux. “TDS Racing was very fast and certainly deserved the victory. For our part, the reliability was there but we had a twist of fate with the breakage of the extractor. My triple stint went well, even if our settings were not optimal. We are learning and we still have to work. We consolidate first place in ILMC, that’s positive. »
