His last participation in the Le Mans event dates back to the 2007 edition, where he shared the wheel of a Saleen Oreca with Laurent Groppi and Nicolas Cheers. Jean-Philippe Belloc va retrouver l’épreuve mythique pour la huitième fois avec une équipe qu’il connait très bien, Larbre Compétition, avec laquelle il avait remporté le titre 2001 en FIA-GT (avec Bouchut sur une Viper GTS-R). Le Tarn-et-Garonnais pilotera une Porsche 997 GT3 RSR en équipe avec Christophe Bourret et Pascal Gibon. Un trio qui a déjà fait ses preuves, puisqu’il a disputé les dernières 24 Heures de Spa-Francorchamps.
On the other hand, contrary to what was announced, Jean-Philippe Belloc does not plan to participate in the entire Racecar Series with the Effitic Carré Sport team.
