Sébastien Bourdais (Peugeot 908 HDi FAP n°2), provisional poleman of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, did not shy away from his pleasure at the end of the first qualifying session. The Sarthois climbed onto his 908 to celebrate this best time. Indeed, if the rain falls on Thursday as expected, the pole will be decided this Wednesday.

« With the difficult weather conditions forecast, it was important to have good weather this evening, explains Sébastien Bourdais. I was able to get a clear lap after the restart to set a good time. I'm happy for the team, it's nice to take provisional pole here, at home. I knew we could go quickly. »
