Co-founder of the legendary Kremer Racing team in the early 1960s with his brother Erwin, Manfred Kremer died on Tuesday March 16 at the age of 81. He was mainly responsible for the maintenance of Porsche and engine preparation. Among a long list of successes, the Kremer Racing Team notably won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1979 with the Porsche 935 of Klaus Ludwig and brothers Don and Bill Whittington.
