Romain Dumas, driver of the No. 15 Audi R9 TDI, will drive the R15 for its second year of operation. However, this year, it is almost a completely new car, as the R15 has been modified since 2009. But it will not have a long career since, due to the arrival of the new 2011 regulations, Audi will produce an R18. The Cévennes driver expresses his disappointment at seeing this car have such a short lifespan.

« I think it's a shame, confides Romain Dumas to AUTOhebdo.fr. Is it difficult to talk about? but somewhere, it?s a kind of failure because you have to relearn everything. When you only have six or eight hours of driving on the circuit, it's a handicap. Especially when the circuit has been redone and you don?t have the experience of years. It?s unfortunate but it?s the strength of Peugeot . They know the car so much that they put it down, it works. They know that you have to put such a shock absorber, such a camber, such a spring, such a gear ratio, such an anti-roll bar then “let's put on some tires and have fun”. That?s their strength. »
