The Eurasia Motorsport team will make its debut in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) during the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps round (Belgium, April 25). The Asian team will compete in the LM P2 class with a Ligier JS P217 allocated to Nick Cassidy, Daniel Gaunt and Nobuya Yamanaka. It will also be the baptism of fire for Nick Cassidy, outgoing Super Formula champion.
“We are looking forward to joining the WEC grid, but also to preparing for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, says Team Principal Mark Goddard. The goal is to learn as much as possible. » During the Sarthoise classic, Nick Cassidy will be replaced by his compatriot Shane van Gisbergen.
