Yesterday, the nine pilots Peugeot Sport and their Director Olivier Quesnel caused a sensation when they arrived for technical verifications at Place des Jacobins after joining Le Mans from Chartres by bike. An initiative welcomed by Marc Gené, who is full of praise for the atmosphere that reigns within the French team a few days before the start of the 79th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
“It was both original and very nice to arrive together by bike for the checks, underlines the Spaniard, winner in 2009 with Alexander Wurz and David Brabham. Physically everything went well. Above all, we all appreciated the atmosphere that reigns within our team. It's truly the best state of mind I've ever felt within a team, and I hope the results will follow. »
